CLOSURE NOTICE EFFECTIVE 2-26-2019

The ash tree cutting area has moved and now includes the paved bicycle and walking path. The entire path will be closed starting Tuesday, February 26th from the Fishing Pier Road access over to the marina area. There will be no access to the trail for any visitors. For safety reasons, visitors must not enter the closed areas at any time. Heavy equipment will be in operation and large trees will be cut down. Signs will be posted at all access points. The tree cutting is estimated to take several weeks, weather dependent. We will update as soon as the cutting is completed and the area is re-opened.

MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL NOTICE 2-15-2019

The Mountain Bike Trails are closed for the season. Please do not ride or run on the trails until they are officially re-opened in 2019. When trails are saturated and visitors ride bikes or run on them, it can create deep divots and ruts that destroy the carefully maintained trail surface. It can take hours of work to repair just a small section. These trails are solely maintained by a small group of volunteers who work hard all year to maintain, repair, and improve our bike trails. Help us protect the awesome resources we have by obeying the closure notice. We will see you again in the spring!
